All Grain Clone Kit - Pliny the Elder

A craft beer classic and one of the most sought after beers in the world, it's hard to believe a Double IPA existed in the 1990s! This Pliny the Elder clone is based on a recipe supplied by Vinnie Cilurzo himself allegedly and clocks in at 8.2%. The key to 'Pliny' is the double dry hop which involves 'burping' with CO2 to kick the hop matter from the first dry hop back up into suspension to extract max aroma. 

Malt: Pale, Crystal, Carapils

Hops: Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe

Yeast: US-05 American Ale (dry). Can be upgraded to Wyeast 1056 American Ale (liquid 'smack-pack' activator) in pouch but a starter will need to be made to ensure adequate pitch quantity. 

Comes with dextrose for priming, sanitiser and instructions.
